Craft Week is a craft festival initiated by the Korea Craft and Design Foundation to promote and share the joy of craftsmanship. The 2026 Craft Week, a domestic craft festival organized by the Korea Craft and Design Foundation, will run for 10 days from June 19 to 28 across various venues nationwide. Starting in 2018, Craft Week celebrates its ninth edition this year and offers experiences where craftsmanship naturally becomes integrated into our daily lives, communities, and time. This year, Buyeo County in South Chungcheong Province has been selected as the hub city for Craft Week, with craft programs centered around five regional zones: Sejong-Gongju, Jeonju-Gochang, Chilgok-Gumi, Ulsan-Busan, and Jeju-Seogwipo, featuring each region's unique resources and stories. Craft transcends mere handmade objects to become a culture that connects regional landscapes, sensory experiences of life, and relationships between people. Through diverse craft programs including exhibitions, hands-on experiences, markets, and tours at the 2026 Craft Week, visitors can discover the time and warmth conveyed by craftsmanship and experience moments where craftsmanship dwells in everyday life.
